Free RoPro, explained
In January 2026 we gave every recent subscriber free RoPro. Most people never knew. This page explains the program.
What happened
On January 23, 2026 we cancelled the paid membership of every recent subscriber. We then gave each of them RoPro for free.
Nobody paid during that time. Every paid feature stayed switched on.
Our notice at the time said only that we extended subscriptions free of charge. It did not give a length. Most people never learned how much free time they received.
On or around January 23, 2026 you should have received an email from our subscription provider, Paddle, that your subscription was cancelled.
Why we did it
Roblox changes its website often. In January a batch of RoPro features broke at the same time.
We needed the time to fix them properly. We did not want to ship a quick patch.
We also did not want people to pay while we did that work. So we stopped the charges and left every paid feature switched on.
Who received it
Everyone who subscribed in the 90 days before January 23, 2026 received free RoPro.
RoPro Plus and RoPro Rex both counted. You kept the tier you already had.
You did not need to ask. You did not need to do anything. We applied it for you.
How long it lasted
Most people received 179 or 180 days of free RoPro. Your exact length depends on the date of your last payment, so the dates differ from person to person.
RoPro shows you your own dates:
- Open any Roblox page with the RoPro extension installed.
- Find the RoPro banner at the top of the page.
- Click Learn More in the banner.
A popup gives your start date, your end date, and your total free days. The banner appears only for the people who received free RoPro.
What happens now
The program ended. We reset those free subscriptions.
Your subscription stays cancelled. We will not charge you. Nothing renews on its own.
Every free RoPro feature still works. You keep those features whether or not you subscribe again.
You can subscribe again at any time. Thank you to everybody who stayed with us.
